Privacy & your data

Updated October 7, 2026. HexaGameHub is operated by Poobearski. For privacy questions, access, correction or deletion requests, email hexagamehub@gmail.com.

Playing and signing in

You can play public games without creating an account. If you register, we store your email address, chosen username and a password hash. Passwords are checked using PHP’s password verification functions; your password is not stored as readable text.

Session and remember-me cookies support sign-in. Local browser storage keeps preferences, saved games, score-claim information and game-specific saves. Guest Hex Board state is tied to a server session and becomes unavailable after 24 hours of inactivity or when that session is lost.

Public activity

Your chosen username or guest initials, submitted scores, score dates, public profile progress, XP and badges can appear on scoreboards, profiles and activity panels. Avoid using identifying information in your public name. Your email address is not intended for public display.

Unclaimed guest scores remain publicly eligible for seven days. Removing an expired score from a board does not necessarily erase the stored record. Account scores and progress are retained while supporting your account; contact us to request deletion.

Usage and technical information

First-party analytics records page visits, game choices, game and score events, session and visitor identifiers, referrer information, browser information and a hashed IP address. Events may be associated with an account when signed in. Hosting services may also maintain access and security logs. These records help us understand use, fix errors and detect abuse.

Game assets may be cached in your browser for faster loading. Clearing site data removes local preferences and may remove guest saves. Signing out does not delete your account.

Links to other services

Moonlit Cabin is another project from the same creator. Following a link to it or to YouTube takes you to a separate service with its own data practices. Promotional links may include a campaign label such as “hexagamehub” so the destination can identify the source of a visit.

Your choices

You may browse and play as a guest, clear browser storage, and request access, correction or deletion through hexagamehub@gmail.com. Include your username and send the request from your account email where possible. We may need to verify ownership before changing account data. Never send your password. Records needed for security, resolving disputes or legal obligations may need to be retained.
